Head coach Jack Shelter gathers his Poland lady alumni basketball team around him as he gives his last pep talk just before they hit the Poland Middle School basketball floor where they faced the younger Poland alumni ladies. Both Jack Shelter and Paul Sherman are directors for the Poland boys basketball club, which put the event together. Next year’s Poland Alumni Basketball event has all ready been scheduled for 4 p.m. Nov. 30 at the Poland High School Field house.
Alli Graf who graduated in 1999 from Poland Seminary High School takes the ball down court during the first period of the Poland’s first annual alumni basketball game on Jan. 2. The event was held at Poland Middle School by the Poland boys basketball club. Graf still hold three records at the high school. Graf has the season three-point recorded with 69 in a season, three-point career recorder with 160 and 87 steals in a single season.

Jon Hubuda, from the Poland class of 2003, shows he still has the stuff to still play basketball. While driving to the hoop, Hubuda changes a right hand lay up to his left for two points during the Poland alumni men’s basketball game. Hubuda is the currently JV head basketball coach for Poland.
Chad Fender, a 2005 Poland graduate, sinks a three-pointer during the first Poland alumni basketball game held at Poland Middle School on Jan. 2. Fender holds the school's all-time scoring record with 1,546 career points. Fender is also an assistant basketball coach for the Poland Bulldogs.
