St. Joseph Immaculate Heart of Mary first-graders Xaiver Winner and Laura Baldado celebrated the feast of St. Nicholas on Thursday, Dec. 6 by making ornaments to give to senior citizens. The day began with the entire school attending Mass in which the first-grade students presented the readings, petitions, and gifts. All students the sang Advent songs including “Stay Awake, Be Ready,” “Emmanuel,” and “Be Like Jesus.”
