Seventh grade girls remain undefeated

On Dec. 3, the Poland seventh-grade girls basketball team opened the season with a win over Howland, 32-23. Maggie Sebest led the Lady Dogs with 11 points and Bella Gajdos added nine. Six others each added a score for the Bulldogs including Katie Murko and Emma Moffo.

On Dec.4, the girls knocked off Boardman Center Middle School, 38-20. The Lady Dogs were led by Alexis Hughes who had 12 points, six rebounds and two steals. Sebest collected 13 rebounds and added six points. Alea Nicholudis and Gadjos also scored six points apiece as the Bulldogs improved to 2-0 on the season

Continuing a winning week of games on Dec.5, the girls improved to 3-0 registering a sound defeat of Hubbard, 37-3. Gajdos led the Dogs with 10 points, five assists and four steals. Moffo added eight points to go along with two steals.
