Murdock weds Paloski in June

Our Lady of Victory in Grandview Heights, was the setting on June 9 for the wedding of Dr. Michael David Paloski and his bride, Dr. Jennifer Nicole Murdock.

Father Romano officiated at the late afternoon ceremony that united the daughter of William and Caren Murdock of Grandview Heights, and the son of William and Joyce Paloski of Canfield.

A reception was held in their honor at Dock 580 in downtown Columbus. The honeymooned in California and French Polynesia later that summer.

The bride wore a Midgley-Sottero one-piece, ivory off-white, strapless fit and flare gown with a corseted back. Ruching enveloped the bodice and asymmetrically plummeted below the waist, while the train poured into a gorgeous balloon hem. Her veil was worn in a shade of ivory and she carried a bouquet of colorful sorbonne lillies arranged with stephonitis and roses.

Jennifer Rill of Grandview Heights was the bride's best woman and her bridesmaids were Lara Watt of Destin, Fla.; Lauren Giffin of Shadyside; Julia Dalton of Toledo; EmilyAnn Breakey of Mechanicsburg, Pa., all friends and family of the bride. They wore black gowns and carried hot pink gerber daisies and rose bouquets.

Serving as best man for the groom was his brother, Brian Paloski of Canfield. His groomsmen included David Vershum of Canfield; Jason Shuba of Canfield; James Watt of Destin, Fla., Joshua Paschke of Huntersville, N.C.

A pharmacist at CVS Pharmacy in Charlotte, N.C., the bride earned her bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and her doctorate degree from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy.

Her husband received his bachelor's degree from The Ohio State University and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Ohio Health in Columbus, and finished a fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He is now practicing Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery with OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, N.C.

They have made their home in Charlotte. N.C.
