Warm hearts provide warm blankets

November 8, 2012
By Kathleen Palumbo , Town Crier correspondent

On Friday Nov. 2, the Holy Family girls of Acts of Random Kindness gathered to assemble no-sew baby blankets for the premature babies in the Special Care Nursery at St. Elizabeth's Health Center in Youngstown.

Following an after-school snack, the group, known for its continuing acts of random kindness, could be found hard at work on the blankets that they will deliver to the hospital later this month, displaying how warm hearts can provide warmth of a different kind to the babies of the unit.

Showing off their combined efforts, the Holy Family School students of ARK will soon pay a visit to St. Elizabeth’s Health Center’s Special Care Nursery where they will deliver the blankets and be able to view the babies in the unit through the window.
