The League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown will sponsor a public forum on the financing of Ohio public schools at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29 in the Austintown Middle School cafeteria. The forum will explain how state laws, state-funded mandates, and school choice threatens Ohio's excellent schools. The event is sponsored by the Education Finance Committee of the League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown and The Council for Public Education. Participants include The Council for Public Education, Austintown Fitch, Boardman, Canfield, Jackson Milton, Poland and South Range Schools.
