There will be a team meeting at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Poland Village Hall, 308 S. Main St., Poland, for current and new players interested in playing for the 2013 Scourge semi-pro/minor league football team. The Scourge will be joining the Ohio Football League in 2013 (ohiofootballleague.com).
Those who wish to volunteer in some capacity, as coaches, game day organizers, etc., are also encouraged to attend. Prospective players must be at least 18 years of age before the season, which starts in late May/early June.
