Sharing with special people

After completing a craft at Woodside Elementary School on Thursday, Sept. 20, first-grader Jada Schrader explained what she does in school to her grandmother Judy Brown. Brown attended a morning session called Grandbuddies where students and their grandparents or other relatives partnered with them for a morning of fun.

Woodside Elementary first-grader Clara Stewart wants to capture the moment with a little camera operations advice from her grandmother Mimi Marker during the school’s Grandbuddies program on Thursday. The program for all first-graders invited grandparents and other relatives to the school to serve as buddies while the class took part in crafts, story-telling and singing.
