At 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, the Poland Board of Education is planning a public forum on the school district's finances. The meeting is open to all Poland residents who want to know more on where their schools stand.
"Whether you are for the school levy or against it, all are welcome to attend this meeting," said interim superintendent Don Dailey.
Speaking at the forum will be a representative from the Buckeye Association of School Administrators, who will speak on school funding in Ohio and how it affects the Poland School District.
Following the talk, the Poland Board of Education, district treasurer and Dailey will take questions from the audience.
"Anyone who has a question or concern should attend and bring them," Dailey said. "We'll do our best to respond."
The meeting will be held at the Poland Seminary High School auditorium.
