Boys soccer undefeated on young season

The Austintown Fitch boys soccer team has gone 4-0 so far on the young season. Dominating the field are nine returning letterwinners including seniors Corey Spencer, Alex Smith, Keanu Shelton, Shane Linton, Kyle Kosco, Ken Kilpatrick, and Vince Ortenzio.

Fitch won over West Branch 4-1 with three goals made by Nate Bowlen and one by Tony Mortaro. They also dominated over Salem 2-1. Goals were scored by Kosco and Ben Conley with assists by Smith and Shelton. In their 2-0 win over Howland, Linton and Bowlen scored with assists by Kosco. With a 1-0 triumph over Poland, the goal came from Conley.

New to the Fitch program are coaches Ken Kilpatrick, Bill Spencer, Brian Stiles and Ed Stredney, who are optimistic on the future of this year's team.
