Ice dancer moves on in competition

Ariana Zebrasky, 19, and a resident of Poland, has qualified at the final regional competition in Indianapolis, to go to Nationals at the World Arena in Colorado Springs. She currently holds first place out of the top six for the Midwest section in Senior Solo Ice Dance. Ariana will compete for the Senior Ladies Free Dance and represent the Phantoms Figure Skating club at the Ice Zone in Boardman. Her brother Thomas, who also made it to Nationals for Ice Dance in 2009, is her coach. Out of more than 8 million registered figure skaters less than 240 in all four U.S. regions make the cut to compete at the United States Figure Skating Nationals.
Ariana is currently a student of Youngstown State University majoring in chemical engineering.
