Starting the school year with tradition

Holy Family School first-grade students Mason Jones, Ryan DiLullo, and Logan Hackstedde await the first all school mass of the 2012-2013 school year. Conducted by Monsignor William Connell, pastor of Holy Family Parish, the mass was celebrated on Wednesday, Aug. 22, the second day of the HFS school year, with all students, teachers, and several families participating.

In accordance with Holy Family School tradition, on Tuesday, Aug. 21, the school’s staff, students and families gathered outside the school in celebration of the student’s first day of school. Greeted by Principal Kathleen Stoops and led in prayer by Father Martin Celuch, the students were then led by their teachers into the building.
