Poland girl state pageant finalist

Emilee Elizabeth Styranec, 9, of Poland, was chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Ohio Pageant held July 28 in Columbus. The pageant is held for girls ages four to 18.

The daughter of Stephen W. Styranec and Wendy Styranec, she was chosen Miss Ohio Jr. Pre-Teen State finalist and was a Most Photogenic contestant and a Casual Wear Modeling contestant. In her free time, Emilee enjoys dancing, playing soccer, and caring for animals.

Winners of the pageant received $1,000 in cash, the official crown and banner, roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California.
