Katie Stoll and Jacob Lape, both of Boardman are announcing their engagement and plans to wed at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 6 at St. Luke's Parish in Boardman. A reception will be held at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Youngstown.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Daniel and Frances Stoll of Boardman.
The future groom is the son of Robert and Loreta Lape of Boardman.

Miss Stoll is attending Youngstown State University in pursuit of a bachelor's degree in hospitality management. She is currently employed at For Kids Sake Preschool and Daycare.
Mr. Lape received a bachelor's degree in criminal justice and is a police officer at McDonald Village.
