Fire catches the ball from his position runs to the second base bag to tag out the runner and then sends a rocket over to first base for the double play. Poland’s Sam Scotford runs up on a ball that was hit in center field during practice. The Poland All Stars are preparing for the Chuck Schafer Scholarship Tournament that was held in Boardman at the Fields of Dreams last weekend. Manager Eric Rapp of the Poland All Stars said, “We have a solid team this year, we are looking to do well in the upcoming tournament in the 11-and-under group.”
