Joshua Reid has recently been awarded Eagle Scout award from Troop 84 at Austintown Community Church, where he has been involved in Scouting for eight years. He is the son of Jerry and Mary Reid of Austintown and is a 2012 graduate of Fitch High School.
His Eagle project involved installing shelves in the Austin Log Cabin's basement and identifying more than 50 items that had been donated over the years. He researched each item, tagged them and gave a brief history of its uses. Most of the items were old farm implements.
