Encouraged to take a stroll down Memory Lane, tour the facility, take a chance on a raffle prize, and enjoy refreshments while viewing antique cars, community members recently visited Sterling House for Classic Cruise Night.

Mother Nature was in full compliance on Thursday, June 14, as participants strolled the grounds, enjoying ice cream and mingling with members of the Mahoning Valley Olde Car Club, who had a striking array of classic cars on display.

Move over Thelma and Louise…make room for Eleanor Lazar and Genevieve Dombroski, who not only viewed the classic cars on display at the event, but were invited to take one for a “virtual” spin. Lazar and Dombroski, both residents of Sterling House, are pictured in the 56’ Fairlane Comet Convertible of Bob Pennell, of Boardman.
