Gratitude offered at brief meeting of trustees

June 7, 2012
By Kathleen Palumbo , Town Crier correspondent

With a lack of public comments and a light agenda, the regular meeting on May 29 of the Boardman Township Trustees was a brief one.

Following the approval of a resolution to implement procedures to facilitate effective reutilization of nonproductive land in the township, Trustee Chairman Tom Costello noted the success of the township's recently held Community Day, where township residents had the opportunity to meet township officials, enjoy refreshments and partake in family fun with various children's activities.

In turn, Trustee Larry Moliterno expressed his gratitude to the Kiwanis for another successful Memorial Day Parade and to the Lions club for landscaping at two "Welcome to Boardman" sign locations.

The Boardman Township trustees will meet next on June 11.
