Despite the absence of snakes, mudslides, buried treasure, and the theatrical excitement they would certainly bring, Holy Family School students recently experienced the next best thing when “Ion Jones,” paid a visit to the school for Carnegie Science Day. Here, second-grade student volunteer Marisa Davanzo served as assistant to “Ion Jones,” as he conducted an experiment with ultraviolet light.
