The pie-throwing contest landed on the faces of Principal Mark Covell, and teachers Alaina McMahon, Alex Haug, Haley Shaffer and student-teacher Kevin Gibson at the Poland Middle School talent show on Friday, May 4.
Poland Middle School’s annual talent show was headed by teacher Haley Shaffer and staff and planning for the event lasted about three months. TJ Sacco, a 235-pound football player got on stage to sing and dance dressed as Shirley Temple. Sacco’s act filled the auditorium with laughter as he curtseyed at the end of his performance.

Noah Lee played his violin during the talent show held at Poland Middle School on May 4. Lee played the well known song by Charlie Daniels, “Devil Went Down to Georgia.”
