John and Cynthia Serich of Poland are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Jaclyn M. Serich of Niles, to Thomas L. Williams of Girard. He is the son of Cheryl and the late Mickey Williams of Girard.
The couple will be married in an open ceremony at 2 p.m. Sept. 8 at St. Columba Cathedral in Youngstown, with a reception by invitation only at Antone's Banquet Center.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in respiratory care. She is employed as a sleep technician at St. Joseph Diagnostic Sleep Lab in Warren.
