Photo special to the Town Crier
Girls Scouts from Troop 80420 in front, left to right, Emily Porterfield, Libby Finsen, Abby Palmer, Katie Dysert, Maggie Lumsden, Andreanna Tocicki, Kelsey Dapril, Holly Eberly, Zoe Guzman, Ella Mitchell, and Julie Porterfield sponsored four adoptions at Angels for Animals. The troop is made up of 13 fourth-grade girls from Canfield, who set a goal at the beginning of the cookie sale to go on a trip to COSI and to help Angels for Animals. Their last cookie booth was held at the Angels for Animals Garage Sale, and they took half of the profits from that sale and gave it back to Angels for Animals. On Monday, May 7, the girls visited Angels and saw all the animals that need adopted. They picked two dogs and two cats to sponsor. If a person were to come and adopt one of the animals that they chose the price of adoption would be lower.
