The Austintown Memorial Day Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 28 and follows a route from Marc's parking lot at the corner of Idaho Road and Mahoning Avenue, to the Fitch High School Veterans Memorial.
A commemorative service begins at 11 a.m., sponsored by Austintown Memorial American Legion Post #301 and the Austintown VFW Post. The master of ceremonies, Post #301 Commander Gary Kommel, will introduce the main speaker, CWO3 Donald J. Oglesby, U.S. Coast Guard, retired.
