The Pack 2 Den 10 Weeblos Scouts of Poland earned their Parvuli Dei (Children of God) Award this spring. The Scouts are all fourth grade students at Holy Family School. The boys' accomplishment was recognized March 28 during Mass at Holy Family. Monsignor William Connell and troop leader Julie Brennan presented the Scouts with their medals. The Parvuli Dei program entails activities geared towards helping young boys discover the important presence of God in their daily lives. It also is meant to assist them in developing positive self-images by recognizing the contributions they make to their community. Scouts receiving the award include, in front row: Vincent DeToro, Ronnie Hryb, Michael Scavina, Matthew Brennan and Theodore Ovaska; and in the second row, Connell and Brennan, the Den 10 Weeblos leader.
