Four Rotary clubs were represented recently at the All-Ohio Rotary Presidents-Elect Training Seminar recently held in Columbus. These Rotarians joined nearly 300 presidents-elect from throughout Ohio at the two-day seminar.
Area presidents-elect attending were James Grantz from Boardman Rotary; Brianna Komara from Canfield Rotary; Dan Dull from Poland Rotary; and Ron Faniro from Youngstown Rotary. Missing were the presidents-elect from the Rotary Clubs of Austintown and Struthers.
Participants had the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities of Rotary presidents and were able to network with others in the same capacity from throughout the state. Highlights of the training were the presentations by the 2010-2011 Rotary International President Ray Klinginsmith, and the 2012-2013 Rotary International President-Elect Sakuji Tanaka from Japan.
The All-Ohio Rotary Presidents-Elect Training Seminar is in its 31st year in training incoming Rotary presidents from the five Ohio Rotary Districts.
