Poland Choir gets top ratings at district competition

Twenty members of the Poland Seminary High School Concert and Show Choirs received a Superior I rating -- the highest possible score at the Ohio Music Education Association's District 5 Solo and Ensemble Competition held recently at South Range High School.

In class "A" division, the PSHS Chamber Ensemble members who received a I rating were: Brittany Best, Jonathan Burns, Cody Compton, Troy Conti, Gina Cossette, Sarah Gleydura, Victoria Klim, Daphne Kostoff, Charles May, Christian Nemeth, Angelina Pecchia, Madeleine Queen, Lauren Stebelton and Joe Weetman.

Class A soloists who received a I rating were Brittany Best, Sarah Gleydura, Victoria Klim and Lauren Stebelton.

In class "B" division, the PSHS Womens Ensemble members who received a I rating were Brittany Best, Gina Cossette, Sarah Gleydura, Victoria Klim, Daphne Kostoff, Angelina Pecchia and Lauren Stebelton.

Class B soloists who received a I rating were Samantha Nicholas and Angelina Pecchia.

Class C soloists who received a I rating were Anna Cartwright, Gina Cossette, Gabriella Mediati, Aubrie Morrison, Madeleine Queen, Victoria Remley and Lanina Smith.
