Proof that hands-on is much more fun than the alternative, CVMS students Steve Salomon, Maggie Bleidel, and Londyn Glass challenge what they've learned in recent science lessons working as a group.
Canfield Village Middle School 8th grade students Dominic Miranda, Ryan Garano, Adam Dunbar and Marissa Donchess combined brain power for a recent science lab in the class of teacher Bob Alleman.
Equally intriguing as “Which came first…the chicken or the egg,” was “Which will reach the grounds of Canfield Village Middle School first…Mr. Alleman’s bowling ball or the golf ball dropped by CVMS student Maggie Bleidel?” And the result – they reached the ground at the same time. Why…you ask? Well for that, you have to take part in Mr. Alleman’s eighth-grade science unit.
With his classmates looking on, CVMS 8th grade student Andrew Hallof goes for a spin on 8th grade Science teacher, Bob Alleman’s handmade hovercraft, when each student in the class recently had the opportunity to take the leaf-blower propelled “vehicle” for a spin.
