Holy Family Church was the setting for the July 16, 2011 wedding of Lauren Nicole LoSasso to Andrew Michael Popovich Jr., both of Poland. The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Monsignor William J. Connell followed by a 7 p.m. reception at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The bride is the daughter of Fred and Bonnie LoSasso of Poland, and the groom's parents are Andy and Sandy Popovich, also of Poland.
The bride wore a strapless gown of white silk organza featuring a ruched bodice embellished with Swarovski crystals and beading, a dropped waist and a semi-cathedral train. She wore a crown headpiece of hydrangeas and roses.

Maid of honor for her sister was Natalie LoSasso of Poland, and bridemaids included Tara Popovich of Poland, sister of the groom; Shannon Craig of Cleveland, cousin of the bride; Caitlyn Conglose of Poland, friend of the bride; and Amanda Krefft of Fort Wayne, Ind., cousin of the bride. Keira Coates of Springsboro, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. The ladies wore fuschia tafetta gowns and carried roses and hydrangeas.
Best man for his cousin was Joshua Slaven of Columbus, and groomsmen were Justin Hodges of Boardman, friend of the groom; Mark Mraz of Cleveland, cousin of the bride; Scott Danish and Mitch Baird, both of Poland, and friends of the groom. Liam Coates of Springsboro, cousin of the bride, served as ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Popovich earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Youngstown State University, graduating summa cum laude. She is a registered nurse at St. Elizabeth Hospital's cardiac care unit in Youngstown.
Mr. Popovich earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, graduating cum laude from Youngstown State University. He works as an electrical engineer for CMI Industry Americas in Salem.
Following a honeymoon Caribbean cruise to St. Thomas, St. Martin and Coco Cay, the couple has made their home in Poland.
