Track team sprints toward spring

Seniors Ashley Klase and Haley Miller enjoy the workout on the inside because of weather conditions this Monday, March 5.

Dan, Nicolette and Dave Kreatsoulas all compete in the discus and shotput. Dan is a senior who hopes to break the school discus record held by Robert Johnson that was set in 1939 with a mark of 160 feet. Nicolette, a freshman is looking to place in the district and Dave wants to break the 50 foot mark.

Poland’s Anthony Marchionda will be competing in several events this track season. Marchionda is focuses on beating his last’s year time of 11:30.8 He will be running the 100 meter, 200 meter, 400x100 and the 400x200. Poland will open against Howland March 27 at home.
