Photo special to the Town Crier
Poland North third- and fourth-graders recently finished a special service project in which they were asked to donate birthday items, such as cake mix, frosting, plates, napkins, candles, and a decoration (balloons, streamers, hats, etc.). These items were put into a shoebox and then wrapped in birthday wrap. The 46 boxes were taken to the Beatitude House for distribution as children living there celebrate a birthday. Pictured with some of the boxes are third-graders Madison Amato and Nicholas Manack, and Alyssa Jenkins and Freddie Chammas, both fourth-graders.
