Fall rite unites Greene, Morris

Holy Family church was the setting for the Oct. 28, 2011 wedding of Erin Katherine Greene to Robert Paul Morris. The Rev. Monsignor William J. Connell officiated and an evening reception was held at The Georgetown. The bride is the daughter of Britt and Judy of Greene of Poland. Parents of the groom are Vernon and Jill Morris of Yately, England.

The bride wore a white satin, strapless gown embellished with pearls and Swarovski crystals, with a chapel-length train. She wore a fingertip veil adorned with crystal beading and carried a bouquet of white roses, hydrangea, green orchids and stephanotis with crystals throughout.

The bride's sister, Kelly Volovar of Canfield, served as matron of honor. Bridemaids included the bride's sisters Amy Greene Smith of Cincinnati, Allison Greene of Poland, and the bride's friend Meredith Reffner of Poland. All wore knee-length clover green satin dresses.

Stuart Hensby and Duncan Pitt, served their friend as best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Andrew Morris and friend of the groom Craig Berry. All the men hail from Yately, England. Nephew of the bride Chad Volovar served as ring bearer.

The new Mrs. Morris graduated from Duquesne University with bachelor's degrees in supply chain management and information systems. She is employed in the purchasing department of ANH Refractories in Coraopolis, Pa.

Mr. Morris graduated from Yately College in England with a business management degree and worked as a logistics control manager in England.

The couple honeymooned at Kalahari Resorts in Sandusky and have made their home in Poland.
