Amelia Bellino, Brandon Duncan, Eric Gallagan, Toni Geffert, Emmy Graffius, Jenna Kalosky, Lisa Merdic, Stephanie Slattery and Jennifer White, all of Canfield, have been named to the Dean's List for the Kent State Salem and East Liverpool branches. To qualify for the full-time Dean's List, students must have a grade point average during the semester of 3.40 or greater and must have completed 12 or more graded credit hours.

Samantha Schrum graduated from Kent State University Dec. 17, 2011, with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Samantha is a 2007 Canfield High School graduate. She was named to The Presidents List, an award given for at least 15 hours with a grade point average of 4.0. Samantha is the daughter of Jeff and Jenny Schrum.

Audrey M. Smith, a 2010 Canfield High School graduate, has been named to the Dean's List at Kent State University. Smith is a a fashion merchandising major.

Heather James of Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. James is a graduate student in Mount Union's physician assistant studies program. To be eligible for Dean's List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no grade below a B.

Anna Brocker, a freshman of Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. To be eligible for Dean's List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no grade below a B.

Jacqueline Podolsky, a freshman from Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. To be eligible for Dean's List, students must have completed at least 12 credit hours of traditionally graded coursework while achieving a grade point average of 3.550 or better with no grade below a B.

Anna Adams, a senior business administration major from Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. Shayna Allshouse, a sophomore psychology major from Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. Sarah Brocker, a senior biology major from Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. Taylor Carkido, a junior English literature major from Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union. Brianne DeRose, a freshman psychology major from Canfield, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester at the University of Mount Union.
