Spencer is fall bride to Hernandez

Wedding vows were exchanged Oct. 29, 2011 at Saint Jacob Lutheran Church in Massillon by Megan Spencer of Cleveland and Justin A. Hernandez, formerly of Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Lynn Williamson of Massillon and Mr. and Mrs. Don Bratton of Medina. The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Amil C. Hernandez of Canfield. The bride's father officiated at the double ring wedding ceremony.

The bride wore an ivory tea-length strapless organza gown with floral appliques on the bodice and also on the flowing organza skirt. In her hair, she had ivory and white roses that matched her bridal bouquet.

Serving as matron of honor was Jennifer Daugherty of Columbus, childhood friend of the bride. Jeremy Hernandez of Canfield, was best man for his brother.

The bride is the managing editor for "Nightclub & Bar magazine" in Cleveland. She graduated from Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in journalism.

Mr. Hernandez is the director of treatment at REACH Counseling Services in Cleveland. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Kent State University and a master's in counseling from Youngstown State University.

A reception followed at Bravos Restaurant in Massillon. In late April, a reception will take place at Antone's Banquet Center in Boardman. The couple is planning a summer honeymoon in Europe.
