Lance F. Wilson and his bride, the former Nancy J. Roth, were united in marriage Nov. 18, 2011, at Ashton Gardens Chapel in Houston. Bill Courtney officiated at the 7:30 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at Ashton Gardens Reception Hall.
The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Sharon Roth of Austintown. The groom is the son of Lorri Wilson of Longmont, Colo., and Clayton Wilson of Melbourne, Australia.
For the wedding,the bride wore a white strapless gown with metallic embroidery, rhinestones, pearls, crystal beading and sequins. Wearing navy gowns were the bride's matron of honor, Sara Boesel, sister of the bride, and bridesmaids Kelly Haase and Carla Zalac, friends of the bride, and Emily Wilson, the groom's sister. The flower girls were Brooke and Bridget Baker, cousins of the groom.

Serving as best man was Forrest Wilson, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Ryan Holak, Ryan Vincent, and David Meyer, friends of the groom.
The new Mrs. Wilson is a summa cum laude graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in secondary education. She is social studies teacher at Cypress Fairbanks High School.
Mr. Wilson attended the University of Maryland with a degree in emergency management. He is employed at the University of Houston as a deputy fire marshal. Both the bride and groom are volunteer firefighters in Cypress Creek. The groom serves as a lieutenant.
Following a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Houston.
