The bride-to-be, Tammy Reed of Houston, is announcing her engagement to T. Nicholas Lyons also of Houston.
The daughter of Ray and Valerie Reed of Poland, the bride-elect graduated from Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania with a degree in forensic science. She is employed by the Houston Police Department as a firearms examiner.
The future groom is the son of Tommy and Freda Lyons of Houston and Kate Lyons of Washington, D.C. He is a HSSE project coordinator for Sptizer-Orizon Industries in Brookshire, Texas.
