St. James Meeting House in Boardman was the setting for the June 11, 2011, wedding of Matthew T. Guza and his bride, Sarah A. Brothers.

The Rev. Russ Adams of Western Reserve United Methodist Church officiated at the morning ceremony that united the daughter of Scott Brothers of Austintown and Kim Brothers of Canfield, and the son of Tom and Mary Kay Guza of Austintown. The groom's sister, Michelle Porter, gave a reading at the couple's ceremony.

A brunch reception was held in the couple's honor at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield that afternoon.

The bride wore an elegant ivory gown with a full skirt, chapel-length train, dramatic V-shaped neckline and backline, and a pearl-embellished waistband with antique stitching. Her veil and hairpiece were also adorned with pearls, and she carried a bouquet of pale pink roses.

Brittany Chalfant of Glassport, Pa., was the bride's maid of honor, and her bridesmaids were Lisa Curll of Boardman and Kayla Herron of Salem, all friends of the bride. They wore sage green gowns and carried clusters of pale pink roses.

Serving as best man for the groom was his friend, Rick Dunn of Lisbon. His groomsmen included Jacob Brothers of Canfield, brother of the bride, and Rob Heckel of Boardman, friend of the groom.

A materials engineer at Delphi Packard in Warren, the bride earned a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Youngstown State University this past May.

Her husband is studying information networking at Fort Hays State University and is employed as a systems administrator at Touch Support in Canfield.

Following a honeymoon in Maui, they have made their home in Boardman.
