Amy Vinopal, a center/mid-fielder on the Cardinal Mooney girl's soccer team, has announced her plans to sign a Division I National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh.
Vinopal, who was named Division II Player of the Year in Ohio scored 26 goals and had 25 assists for the Cards this year. In addition, she was named to the All State and All-County teams and was named Vindicator Player of the Year and Fall Athlete of the Year.
Amy is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Vinopal of Boardman and coached by Frank Sikich.
