The Austintown Fitch robotics club, Falco-Tech Robotics, advised by Ric Zimmerman and Mike Mellott, were invited to visit Main Steel in Austintown to learn how robots are used in the steel industry. The tour, led by General Manager Roger Ben, focused on the company’s use of a robotic pattern polisher. Main Steel employee John Kittle demonstrated the robots' capabilities. The Austintown Fitch Robotics Club, Falco-Tech Robotics, were invited to visit Main Steel in Austintown to learn how robots are used in the steel industry as they move closer to this year’s competition. The team will be hosting a pancake breakfast at Fitch High School to raise money for their upcoming competition. The fundraising event will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 28 in the Fitch cafeteria.
