Jan. 5

2:06 p.m. - Attempted burglary was reported from a Lake Shore Drive residence.

3:13 p.m. - Following a stop at Southern Boulevard and Meadowbrook Avenue, police cited Karell R. Carter, 30, 34 S. Bon Air Ave., Youngstown, for possession of marijuana.

3:26 p.m. - Theft was reported from a Silver Fox Drive residence.

4:30 p.m. - Joseph F. Vaught Jr., 24, 1974 Wolosyn Circle #3, was arrested at the above address on a domestic violence warrant from BPD.

6:00 p.m. - Following a stop on Market Street at Rockdale Avenue, police cited Jamie L. Hubler, 18, 1245 Pleasant Valley Drive NE, Warren, for possession of marijuana.

6:30 p.m. - Police took possession of and booked Raymond J. Tamburro, 39, 13624 W. South Range Road, Salem, who had been arrested by U.S. Marshall Task Force officers on a BPD warrant of theft by deception.

11:47 p.m. - Telecommunications harassment was reported from an Erskine Avenue residence.

Jan. 6

7:55 a.m. - Following investigation of an incident at a Basil Avenue residence, police located and arrested a Boardman 17-year-old for domestic violence at Lemoyne Avenue and Sequoya Drive.

12:21 p.m. - Assault, criminal damaging and criminal damaging auto were reported following investigation of a fight in the parking lot of 4000 Hillman Way. One of the combatants was transported by ambulance to St. Elizabeth Hospital.

12:31 p.m. - Following investigation of a shoplifting, police arrested Adam A. Carson, 29, 1608 Market St., Youngstown, for theft from Best Buy, 561 Boardman-Poland Road.

5:06 p.m. - Telecommunications harassment was reported from a Sigle Lane residence.

8:07 p.m. - Theft was reported after merchandise was shoplifted from Sears, Southern Park Mall.

8:09 p.m. - Theft was reported after a shopper's wallet was stolen at Gabriel Brothers, 850 Boardman-Poland Road.

9:16 p.m. - Following a traffic stop on South Avenue at Mathews Road, police arrested Lemar A. Carlisle Jr., 31, 159 Maywood Drive, on a failure to appear warrant from Youngstown PD.

11:06 p.m. - Telecommunications harassment was reported from a Brandon Avenue residence.

Jan. 7

2:12 a.m. - Criminal damaging auto was reported from a carport at 137 LeMans Drive.

4:18 a.m. - Casey M. Yourex, 20, 49478 Moore Ave., East Liverpool, was arrested for drunken/disorderly conduct at Shell, 998 E. Western Reserve Road.

11:23 a.m. - Telecommunications fraud was reported at the station.

11:49 a.m. - Following investigation of a shoplifting at TJ Maxx & More, 717 Boardman-Poland Road, police arrested Machelle D. Sydney, 30, 253 Alameda Ave., Youngstown, for theft, and on a failure to appear warrant from Liberty Township PD and a violation of a court order warrant from Warren PD.

1:19 p.m. - Criminal simulation was reported after a counterfeit bill was discovered at Sam's Club, 6361 South Ave.

2:01 p.m. - Assault was reported following an incident at the Wagon Wheel Motel, 7015 Market St.

2:44 p.m. - Criminal damaging of a Turnberry Drive residence was reported at the station.

4:21 p.m. - Burglary was reported from a Bonnie Place apartment.

4:29 p.m. - Telecommunications harassment was reported at the station.

4:47 p.m. - Following investigation of a shoplifting, police arrested Melissa A. Kinkela, 43, 912A Harvard Blvd., Youngstown, for theft from Giant Eagle, 476 Boardman-Canfield Road.

5:13 p.m. - Theft was reported from outside the office of CPA Jim Diffley, 5106 Market St.

6:33 p.m. - Following a traffic stop on South Avenue at Trailwood Drive, police arrested Paula Frankin, 47, 510 North Ave., Girard, on assault and criminal trespassing warrants from Goshen PD.

6:56 p.m. - Theft was reported at the station after a shopper's purse was stolen at Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road.

8:07 p.m. - Criminal mischief was reported from outside a South Avenue apartment.

8:14 p.m. - Menacing was reported at the station following an incident at Sunoco, 5721 Market St.

9:45 p.m. - Theft was reported at the station after a customer's wallet was stolen at T.G.I. Friday's, 7165 Tiffany Blvd.

10:20 p.m. - Telecommunications harassment was reported from a Valley View Drive residence.

Jan. 8

2:23 a.m. - Assault was reported following investigation of a fight in the parking lot of the Lanai Lounge, 7631 South Ave.

3:54 a.m. - Criminal damaging was reported from an Applecrest Court apartment.

12:25 p.m. - Theft was reported at the station after a patron's coat and cell phone were stolen at the Lanai Lounge, 7631 South Ave.

1:16 p.m. - Theft and criminal damaging were reported after merchandise was shoplifted from Burlington Coats, 529 Boardman-Canfield Road.

3:53 p.m. - Felonious assault was reported following investigation of a large juvenile fight that had occurred inside Boardman Park. One of the combatants was taken privately to Akron Children's Hospital.

10:12 p.m. - Breaking and entering was reported from a garage on Youngstown-Poland Road.
