Canfield students rock around the Christmas tree

January 2, 2012

Thanks to the continued generosity of the late James and Coralie Centofanti, the true spirit of Christmas is alive and well within the Canfield Local School District, where students remain gifted each year with an event they're sure to remember.

Recently celebrating the 16th annual Special Needs Christmas party at A La Cart Catering in Canfield, the students reveled amongst school officials, staff and the jolliest guest of all-Santa.

Although this was the second year without the presence of its sponsors, in memory of James and Coralie, members of the Centofanti family are in attendance each year at the event, which also benefits from the generosity of community members and area businesses.

Coordinated annually by Josie Homsey, secretary to John Vitto, Canfield Schools Director of Special Services, the fete includes food, beverages, and music by DJ George Malich, CVMS computer technician.
