Dobbins' students practice what they read

December 22, 2011
The Town Crier

Nearing completion, the Giving Tree program at Dobbins Elementary School is an annual service project comprised of school-wide participation as each grade collected assigned items which were placed on the tree for their designated grade level. All donated items will benefit Children's Services.

All in all, Dobbins students decorated five trees with socks, mittens, gloves, hats, headbands and earmuffs, and scarves, so when the weather outside turns frightful, thanks to the generosity and hard work of the Dobbins students, the comfort and warmth of many area children will remain delightful.
