The bride wore an ivory gown with a modified mermaid silhouette and a sweetheart neckline, featuring a tulle overlay upon lace and a ruched bodice. A cathedral-length veil featured lace appliques worn by the bride’s mother on her wedding day in 1979. She carried a bouquet of yellow and white roses, fugi mums and stephanotis.
Leah Pappas, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a deep teal gown and carried a bouquet of yellow flowers, as did bridesmaids Katie Butcher, sister of the groom; Krista Kronstein, cousin of the bride; and Amy Canada, Brittney Best, Danielle Kovalcik and Jeanine Rees, all friends of the bride. Louise Kronstein, godmother of the bride, was the couple’s koumbara, and Ava and Haley Kovalcik were the flower girls.
The best man was Jason Butcher, the groom’s brother. Groomsmen included Tim Derry, cousin of groom; Jim Derry, cousin of groom; and James Mascola and Joe Mascola, friends of the groom. Felipe Pappas, cousin of the bride, was the stephana and ring bearer.
The new Mrs. Butcher is the daughter of Thomas and Anna Pappas of Poland. She is a graduate of Mount Aloysius College, with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy. She is an occupational therapist at Menorah Park in Beachwood.
Mr. Butcher is the son of Robert and Rebecca Butcher of Poland. He is a graduate of Youngstown State University and is an accountant for the U.S. Department of Defense in Cleveland.
Following their honeymoon in New Orleans, the couple now resides outside of Cleveland.
