Cardinal swimmers place third

On Saturday, Dec. 3 the Canfield Swim and Dive Team placed third in a quad meet held at Youngstown State University. The Canfield team scored a 109 while Wooster placed second with a 152, and Boardman won the meet with a 181. Warren Harding came in fourth with a 103.

Girls results were as follows:

200 yard Medley Relay: third place-Canfield team of Sarah Heaven, Olivia Williamson, Mallory Allen, and Jamie Wellham

200 yard Individual Medley: first place-Sarah Heaven

Diving: third place-Ally Chiu

100 yard Fly: second place-Mallory Allen

100 yard Backstroke: first-Sarah Heaven

100 yard Breaststroke: third-Olivia Williamson

400 yard Freestyle Relay: second-team of Sarah Heaven, Leslie Davis, Mallory Allen, and Olivia Williamson

Boys results:

200 yard Free: second-Nicky Montalto; third-Daniel Bogen

50 yard Free: third-Mark Dalvin

100 yard Fly: first-Connor Brady

100 yard Free: first-Nicky Montalto, third-Mark Dalvin

500 yard Free: first-Drew Bennett

200 yard Free Relay: second-team of Daniel Bogen, Connor Brady, Michael DiDomenico, and Nicky Montalto

100 yard Backstroke: third-Daniel Bogen

400 yard Free Relay: first-team of Daniel Bogen, Michael DiDomenico, Nicky Montalto, and Mark Dalvin
