Residents of Victoria House Assisted Living celebrated the final adoption of their newest resident, 'Miss Alfie' on Nov. 28. The new four-legged resident has been living at Victoria House for almost two weeks. Miss Alfie will be part of the program marking the beginning of the holiday season, featuring a lighting of the tree along with a blessing from Pastor Gary Koerth over the tree and all of the residents. Steve Fazzini will be entertaining and assisting the residents in their first celebration of the holiday season. This will mark the first partnership with Close to Home Animal Rescue and a senior living center in the area. Miss Alfie is a 7-year-old lab that was rescued and fostered through Close to Home Animal Rescue before coming to Victoria House.
