Kollay becomes bride of D’Ettorre in October

The wedding of Alexis Nicole Kollay of Boardman and Alexander Scott D’Ettorre of Upper Sandusky took place at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 at Fieldcrest of North Canton. The Rev. Duane Kemerley of Pandora United Methodist Church officiated. A reception followed at the same location.

The bride is the daughter of Sheryl Ligotti of Boardman, and Robert and Judith Kollay of Canfield. The groom is the son of Joseph and Erin D’Ettorre of Upper Sandusky.

The bride wore a satin wedding dress with a single beaded shoulder strap. The A-line gown was lavishly caught up at various points in the skirt and featured rich beaded embellishments. Alternating diagonal pleats accented the bodice and fitted hip area.

The attendants each wore a unique style navy satin gown. The bride was accompanied by matrons of honor Lindsey Chisholm and Christy Townsend. The bridesmaids were Theresa D’Ettorre, sister of the groom, and friends Cameron Bell, Jessica Towslee, Sarah Hooper, Amanda Kuznicki, Amanda Shedron and Sarah Cantrell Perkins. The junior bridesmaids were Hailey Oakes and Kaelyn Oakes, and the flower

girl was Abby Oakes, all cousins of the bride.

Serving as best man was Craig Loose. The groomsmen were Vincent D’Ettorre and Nick D’Ettorre, brothers of the groom, Robert Kollay, Jr., brother of the bride, Tony McLaughlin, cousin of the groom and friends Tim Gribble, Johnnie Lewis and Eric Small. Adam Kollay, brother of the bride, served as junior groomsman. Landon Dunbar, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

The bride graduated with a degree from Bowling Green State University. She also received a master’s degree in higher education administration from North Carolina State University. She is the assistant director of education and leadership initiatives at Alpha Chi Omega Sorority in Indianapolis.

The groom earned a degree in business administration and entrepreneurship from Bowling Green State University. He works at Charles Schwab in Indianapolis.

After a honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the bride and groom reside in Indianapolis.
