Award-winning Rotary supporters

A special plaque presentation was made by the daughter and grandson of longtime Boardman Rotary member Lou Young, who passed away five years ago. In turn, Paul Harris Award Chairperson Tom Davison and Rotary Foundation chair Greg Riddle presented a Paul Harris Award to Lou’s daughter Denise, from money left to the foundation in Lou’s memory. Pictured are Denise, Davison, Lou's grandson Lou, Club President Ginny Amstutz, and Riddle.

Elijah Kahn of the Salvation Army, was inducted as the newest member of the club last Thursday. He was proposed by Bob Mastriana, at left.

A $1,000 check was presented to Carol Potter and Mike Schaffer from the YMCA for youth programs for the disadvantaged. Posing with the YMCA representatives is Boardman Rotarian Ted Thornton.
