Freshmen Dogs pound Jefferson

Poland’s defense was throwing Jefferson bodies around like pillows as Jake Hawkins and company led the way for the Dogs at home last Thursday.

The unsung hero of last Thursday’s freshmen game against Jefferson was Poland’s field goal kicker Robert Devito, who made five of six extra points in a cold and rainy night.

Austin Wilson of Poland runs through a wide open hole that his offensive line created during the second quarter against Jefferson. Wilson skates 83 yards for a touchdown. The Bulldogs won the contest 41-7 and are now 6-2 on the season.
