On a mission of gratitude, numerous students from Poland’s Union Elementary, accompanied by school Principal Mike Masucci, paid an after-school visit to Poland Fire Station, where they delivered cards of congratulations made by all of the school’s students for a job well done.

In conjunction with the Ohio Society of Fire Service Conference, The Ohio Department of Public Safety’s division of Emergency Services recently recognized the department for demonstrating outstanding leadership in developing an educational program that has a major impact in fire training in their department and community, naming them the Ohio Volunteer Fire Department of the Year. The second annual Ohio Fire Awards Ceremony was held at The Columbus Division of Fire Training Academy on Friday, Oct. 14, during National Fire Prevention Week.
