With activities aligned to meet Ohio’s Academic Content Standards, the first-grade students and their parents spent Family Disney Night visiting stations where they painted ceramic tiles, created a Goofy story, and tried the acting chops on the stage with Rosie and Company.
After devouring cupcakes they decorated “Disney style,” with the help of Clarencedale Cakes, it was obvious that for this group of characters and their parents, the event was somewhat of a Cinderella story.
“I’d like to thank our incredible staff,” said school Principal Mike Masucci, who added, “When our building hosts events like this one, I never have to ask for their support.”

When you’re with “Rosie,” everyone can be a princess. Welcomed to choose any costume for themselves, princesses abounded as Rosie Rokus-Boehlke welcomed students Elizabeth Harger, Sarah Forsyth, and Alayna James to the front of the stage during Union Elementary School's Family Disney Night, Oct. 20.
