District governors gather

On Wednesday, Oct. 5, the past district governors and spouses of District 13-D Lions Clubs, comprised of clubs in Mahoning, Trumbull, Portage, Stark and Columbiana counties, held their annual banquet. Serving as host and master of ceremonies was Past District Governor Harold Ullman of the Crestwood Lions Club. His wife, Joyce Ullman served as hostess. Special guests present include District Governor David Gauch and wife Lion Patti, also from the Crestwood Club. Gauch, in his remarks, praised the PDG’s for the great leadership they have shown and the help they have given to him personally. Pictured in front are: Past District Governors Verna Williams of Warren, Ullman of Crestwood, Ronald Anderson of Lisbon, Ronald Clifton of Youngstown South Side; in the second row are: Donald Heldman of East Liverpool, Donald Martin of Crestwood, Ted Filmer of Canfield, Bob Whited of Austintown, Paul Metrovich of Calcutta, Jerald McCullough of Niles, Bud Jenkins of Boardman, and Bill Mundy of Lisbon.
